How to Use This Cheat Sheet:

These are the National Standards for Personal Finance Education as set by The Council for Economic Education (CEE) and the Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy (Jump$tart).

The standards are organized around six topic areas:

  • Earning income
  • Spending
  • Saving
  • Investing
  • Managing credit
  • Managing risk

Kids’ Money Lesson Plans cover each and every standard! This cheat sheet tells you which Kids’ Money Lesson Plan (“KMLP”) covers each standard. You’ll see them marked by grade level and lesson plan. For example, Kids’ Money 12th Grade Lesson Plan #6 = KMLP 12.6.
