Students Will Understand:

  • What entrepreneurship is and how it contributes to economic efficiency.
  • The characteristics of successful entrepreneurs, see the steps involved along the journey, and identify problems and potential solutions. They will also look at two specific insurance types that entrepreneurs need to consider: disability and life.
  • How to research famous entrepreneurs and see how and why they reached their goals. They will see that people donate money, items, or time to charitable and nonprofit organizations because they value the services provided by the organization and/or gain satisfaction from giving.
Students will also play a game that reviews foundational economic principles and builds money knowledge.
